This website is maintained by the Homeowners Association for Phase 2 of the Mill Creek Estates subdivision in Springfield, Illinois. The purpose of the site is to provide relevant information and resources to homeowners and to communicate news, events and other important developments.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The annual membership meeting of the HOA will take place on Wednesday, June 27, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Columbian Grand Hall meeting room (adjacent to Casey's Pub) at 2200 Meadowbrook Rd. Formal notice of the meeting was mailed to all lot owners on May 27, 2023. We need as much participation as possible in order to have a sufficient quorum to elect Board members and vote on the annual budget and dues assessment. The proposed budget includes the costs of installation of a fountain and annual maintenance with the 10 homeowners living adjacent to the pond offering to contribute towards the purchase of the fountain. If the proposed budget does not pass, then last year's budget including dues assessment will remain in place and there will be no fountain purchase. Members will have the option to vote by proxy, regular mail, or email if they are unable to attend the meeting in person.Reminder - no one may plant or place anything in the common areas or in the pond without express HOA approval as that property is owned by the HOA.
Reminder - per the restrictive covenants for the subdivision, all new home construction and all exterior lot alterations including swimming pools, fences, patios, decks, etc. must be approved by the HOA's Architectural Control Committee. The City's next free branch pick-up for Mill Creek is the week of August 14th. Branches must be placed for pick-up by that Monday.
